On September 3, Mr. Sanders and I celebrated our 11th year of marriage. It is funny to think that we have been married for 11 years and have only lives with each other for 9, but anesthesia school was grueling. Only Carrie would understand how it is to be happily married and not live with your husband.
Miss Hallee was baptized in August. She was beautiful. I can't believe I have a child that old. Her best friend in the whole world made the drive to Oak City to celebrate with her. Thanks Nielson's. We miss you very much. (I stole your picture.)
On a more serious note, I am grateful for my family. Recently, I had some tumors removed from my leg and they came back benign. That was some pretty good news. It made me realize just how much I love my family and their quirky personalities. I know that is was been a scary time, but living in a small town and going through something like this has been my saving grace. I went into the Dr. because the lumps we were watching got bigger in about a three week period. I had the kids with me because Greg was in Texas. I thought I was going in for a simple biopsy, but oh no, no, no. He cut both of them out right there in the office, and then stitched me up. That would never happen anywhere else. I love all the money he saved me in co-pays and free babysitting services. (He just made one of his nurses play with my kids. I Loved it.) But everything is fine, and we are happy, and it was a blessing that I had them removed so quickly. I am telling ya, the don't mess around here.
I am really behind, but as you can tell, I have been a little stressed, so now I am back and better than ever. I just thought I would ask what you are all being for Halloween. I wanted to Greg to be Dog the Bounty Hunter, but I don't think anybody would notice he was dressed up, he would just sort of fit in. I need to think of something good, and time is running out.
